Fetterman Says the Quiet Part Out Loud About Democrats

The 2026 midterms are only a few months away, yet the Democratic Party still lacks a clear explanation for why it lost support among working-class voters in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and across the Rust Belt to Donald Trump in two elections. Instead of addressing this issue, the party’s activist base has intensified its focus on ideological purity, implementing more litmus tests and performative opposition to anything associated with Trump. The most vocal members of the party are now busy policing each other.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) is taking a stand amid the chaos surrounding the Democrat Party, which he says he isn’t leaving, despite the hubbub. In a Thursday op-ed, he made it clear that he recognizes the deep issues facing the party. His comments may represent one of the clearest public criticisms of the political direction the Democrat Party has taken.

The piece titled “I Haven’t Changed. Here’s What Has” reads more like a eulogy for a Democrat Party that no longer exists than a message of party unity. Fetterman’s argument is clear: the positions that define him today—border security, government accountability, and steadfast support for Israel—were once mainstream Democratic views. The party has shifted to the hard, hard left, but he has not. As a result, he has faced public denunciations, demands for his resignation, and protesters showing up at his home in Braddock.“My party cannot simply be the opposite of whatever President Donald Trump says,” he wrote. “The president could come out for ice cream and lazy Sundays, and my party would suddenly hate them.”

He has the receipts.

On immigration issues, he served as the lead Democrat on the Laken Riley Act, which was named after a Georgia nursing student who was killed by an illegal immigrant. In 2024, he also voted in favor of a bipartisan border reform bill. While his party intended to use government shutdown deadlines as leverage against the Trump administration—resulting in TSA agents and federal workers potentially being unpaid—Fetterman chose to vote in favor of keeping the government funded.

“The demand to keep the lights on weighed more heavily than partisan games,” he wrote.

In terms of foreign policy, he has consistently supported Israel during its conflict with Hamas terrorists and commended the Trump administration’s approach to Iran. He pointed out that these positions were once considered typical for a Democrat.

The left’s response has proven his point.

Democrat National Committee (DNC) Vice Chair Malcolm Kenyatta, a Philadelphia state representative, called Fetterman “a mess” on social media after the senator suggested Democrats had Trump Derangement Syndrome for opposing the White House’s ballroom construction.

The Monroe County (PA) Democrat Party labeled him a “traitor” and demanded he be voted out after he declined to rule out supporting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) for a cabinet position in the Trump administration. Cumberland County’s (PA) Democrat Party chair called for his resignation in 2025 after he backed some of Trump’s cabinet nominees.

But through all of it, Fetterman also says he’d be a terrible Republican since he still votes with his party on some of the most left-wing nonsense. Still, Republicans say they’d take him anyway, which might be a case of ‘be careful what you ask for – you might just get it.’ Personally, we’re shedding two RINOs next year (Tillis and McConnell); we don’t need to replace them with more RINOs.

Pelosi Says Dems Will Blame Midterm Losses On…Republican Vote Fraud

You have to give it to Democrats. When it comes to projection, gaslighting the American public, and spewing propaganda, they are masters. Departing representative and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi just proved it again in a master stroke during an interview with left-wing MS NOW.

She said any Democrat losses in the midterm elections would likely be the result of … a-hem … Republican vote fraud. You can’t make this up (unless you’re a Democrat):

“But in addition to that, we have to be on guard as to what they [Republicans] may try to do to the technology. They may try to creep into the technology and create a false count.”

She continued:

“There are so many things that the Republicans will try to do to disrupt an election [that] can be avoided by early voting, by vote by mail. … There’s so many things that we can do to minimize the problem and then focus on the harder part.”

Did you catch that? This is an expert projectionist and gaslighter; ‘Republican interference’ can be mitigated by methods Democrats use to cheat (early voting/vote by mail).

Vote-by-mail has become the latest and perhaps greatest method used by Democrats to cheat in elections. They know that voter registration rolls are notoriously outdated and inaccurate, but mail-in ballots go to addresses, not actual residents. Bob and Mary Smith may not live at 123 Memory Lane anymore but it could contain a houseful of illegal aliens or actual citizens who then get to vote more than once in someone else’s name.

As for Pelosi’s BS, it could also be that a GOP wave is about to hit close to home.

Currently, in California, two Republicans—Steve Hilton and Riverside Sheriff Chad Bianco—are leading in several polls, including one conducted by the state’s Democratic Party. Additionally, enough Californians signed the petition to place the voter ID initiative on the November ballot. This helps explain why Pelosi appears concerned and is now claiming that the midterm elections could be rigged.

Next, in her interview, Pelosi said something that is downright laughable (emphasis mine):

“This is everything. Our democracy is at stake,” she said of the midterm elections. “And what is a democracy? Free and fair elections, independent judiciary, separation of power … rule of law, due process, all of that. That is all at risk, so we have to win.

“But we don’t win by talking about that. We win by addressing why we’re in Congress: for the people,” she continued. “And that is by making sure we lower costs, that we fix what they’re doing to the health care system … and that we fight the corruption that is going on there.”

Just a pet peeve of mine, but I always try to do this when I see a Democrat talk about “muh democracy!” We’re not a democracy; the United States is a republic.

But yes, that Nancy Pelosi is a master gaslighter, no doubt about it. Everything she said above is true, but it’s her party, not the GOP, trying to undermine all of it.

Never forget that.

Obamas Share ‘Never Seen Before’ Photo

Former President Barack Obama has made an interesting move just days after he admitted that his political activism in speaking out against President Donald Trump is causing “genuine tension” with his wife.

Rumors have circulated for years that Barack and Michelle Obama’s marriage is in trouble and that they have been having issues. (Obama accused of committing treason for act against Trump)

Despite the former first family denying the rumors, they have persisted.

The former president shared a “behind-the-scenes” photo of himself with his wife Michelle Obama and their two children in a Mother’s Day tribute. (Photo of Barack goes viral for all the wrong reasons)

“Wishing all the moms out there a wonderful Mother’s Day! To @MichelleObama, I’m grateful for all the ways you’ve shown up for our daughters and our family over the years. We love you,” Barack captioned the image, which appeared to have been taken from early on in his political career. The photo showed the former politician sitting at his desk in a brown leather chair with his youngest daughter Sasha in his lap.

Last week, Barack Obama told an outlet that Trump’s policies and actions are causing him to remain more involved in politics “than I would have preferred.”

That said, his renewed political involvement in left-wing causes has come at a personal cost.

“She wants to see her husband easing up and spending more time with her, enjoying what remains of our lives,” Barack said of Michelle in an interview with the New Yorker.

“It does create a genuine tension in our household, and it frustrates her. I’m more forgiving of it, in the sense that I understand why people feel that way, because people aren’t looking at me in historical comparison to other presidents. They don’t care about the fact that no other ex-president was the main surrogate for the Party for four election cycles after they left office,” he said, making the issue all about himself, which is par for the course with him.

Obama went on to falsely claim that he had held back from criticizing Trump since the latter took office in 2017. In reality, Obama has frequently criticized Trump and his policies, though he hasn’t actually referred to Trump by name.

The latest example was a speech he gave at the late civil rights icon Jesse Jackson’s funeral, where comments he made were widely regarded as being directed toward Trump.

“We are living in a time when it can be hard to hope. Each day we wake up to some new assault on our democratic institutions, another setback to the idea of the rule of law, an offense to common decency. Every day you wake up to… to things you just didn’t think were possible,” he said during the speech.

“Each day we’re told by those in high office to fear each other, and to turn on each other. And that some Americans count more than others, and that some don’t even count at all! Everywhere we see greed and bigotry being celebrated, and bullying and mockery masquerading as strength! We see science and expertise denigrated, while ignorance and dishonesty, and cruelty, and corruption ,are reaping untold rewards! every single day we see that and it’s hard to hope In those moments,” he continued.

“So it may be tempting to give to get discouraged, to give in to cynicism. It may be tempting for some to compromise with power, and grab what you can, or even for good people to maybe just put your head down and wait for the storm to pass. But this man, Reverend Jesse Louis Jackson, inspires us to take a harder path,” Obama droned on.

“His voice calls on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope, to step forward and say, ‘Send me!’ wherever we have a chance to make an impact, whether it’s in our school, or our workplaces, or our neighborhoods, or our cities. Not for fame, not for glory, or because success is guaranteed, but because it gives our life purpose. Because it aligns with what our faith tells us God demands. And because if we don’t step up, no one else will. How fortunate we were that Jesse Jackson answered that call,” he concluded.

The comments were so partisan and over the top that Jackson’s son, Jesse Jackson Jr., rebuked Obama and other former presidents Bill Clinton and Joe Biden for using the occasion to be political.

For the record, Trump spoke highly of Jackson, despite Jackson’s Democratic political leanings, noting that he was a “force of nature like few others before him.”
