Savannah Guthrie reportedly declined NBC's offer to beef up security inside 30 Rock and Studio 1A amid her mom's disappearance.

The Today star, 54, "doesn’t want a bodyguard sitting outside her office or walking her through the halls," a source told celebrity journalist Rob Shuter.

"She wants to feel normal at work," the insider said, per a Monday, April 20, post on Shuter's Substack.

Security Is Tight at NBC

They explained "there is extra security at the show and throughout NBC right now," with the building being "locked down tighter than usual."

Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on February 1, and investigators believe she was abducted from her Tucson, Ariz., home in the middle of the night.

The 84-year-old's blood was found at the scene and a terrifying masked man was captured on her front porch around the time she vanished.

The same insider revealed "access is stricter than ever" at the iconic television studio.

"No pass, no entry — no exceptions," they clarified, dishing, "even longtime staff are being turned away if they don't follow protocol."

But Savannah has decided against having a dedicated bodyguard to keep watch when she's inside her office.

‘Frank’s Sign’ on Trump’s ear could be huge indicator of potentially fatal health condition

Images from a recent Medal of Honor ceremony sparked widespread discussion about the health of the 79-year-old president after a small mark on his skin drew public attention. What initially appeared to be a minor rash quickly became a topic of broader debate.

Dr. Sean Barbabella explained that it was simply a “preventative skin treatment,” aiming to reassure the public. However, in today’s social media environment, even small physical details can lead to intense speculation.

For months, the president’s public appearances have been closely examined. Minor details—such as a bruise, a slight pause in speech, or signs of fatigue—often become subjects of discussion. In this case, commentators carefully analyzed photos and videos from the ceremony.

Political analyst David Pakman, for example, mentioned a faint crease on the president’s earlobe, noting that some studies loosely associate such features with cardiovascular risk, though he acknowledged the evidence is debated.

The situation highlights a larger issue in modern politics: the tension between public reassurance and public skepticism. In an age of constant media attention, even minor physical details can quickly turn into symbols of broader concerns about leadership, transparency, and trust.

Backlash grows against police in Nancy Guthrie case after suspension revelation

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has headed the investigation into Nancy Guthrie's disappearance from her Arizona home since day one

Backlash has been steadily building against the lead investigator in the case of Nancy Guthrie's disappearance on February 1, with Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos coming under fire for past disciplinary issues as the investigation approaches its 12th week.

The sheriff's history at the El Paso Police Department in Texas has drawn criticism as he resigned from his position in 1982 in order to avoid disciplinary action. He addressed the allegations that he misrepresented himself when applying for a job at the Pima County Police Department in the '80s, after leaving his job in Texas.

Chris' lawyer responded to the probe into his past with a 22-page document that explained his conduct. "Sheriff Nanos resigned from the El Paso Police Department in 1982. At the time of his resignation, he held the rank of corporal," the document read.

Sheriff Chris Nanos has come under fire in recent weeks

"His resignation came in the wake of a dispute with a supervisor over the towing of vehicles. The supervisor wanted to impose a three-day suspension for insubordination. Sheriff Nanos appealed that recommended discipline to the Chief, who found in favor of the supervisor."

"Rather than accept a three-day suspension, Sheriff Nanos offered to resign in lieu of discipline. The Chief accepted his offer, and Sheriff Nanos resigned," he continued. The document added that he had not lied about his employment history, and wrote on his resume that he left the job in 1982, despite the Pima County Sheriff's Department website stating that he left in 1984.

Chris' lawyer also acknowledged the disciplinary actions he was subject to at El Paso, including "counselling, reprimands and suspensions". The letter then spoke on the sheriff's previous statement under oath that he had never been suspended as a result of disciplinary action.

The sheriff has lead the Nancy Guthrie investigation since day one

"It is 100% correct that Sheriff Nanos was never suspended during his four decades of decorated and faithful service with the Pima County Sheriff's Department," his lawyer wrote to the Pima County Board of Supervisors.

"However, Sheriff Nanos was suspended more than forty years ago while employed by [the] El Paso Police Department. In the context of his live deposition, Sheriff Nanos did not understand the question related to discipline with a different agency not governed by the Arizona Peace Officers' Bill of Rights."

Social media users quickly shared their distaste for the sheriff after his past in El Paso came to light. "Everyone wants him gone," wrote one X user, while another added that "people are angry". A third chimed in that Chris had "botched this [case] from the start," while a fourth added: "My gut is telling me it was totally mishandled."

Chris faced backlash from social media users

Chris did garner support from some social media users, with one writing: "Wasn't this decades ago? [In my opinion] he is working hard to find Nancy Guthrie," while another added that the focus on his past was "fueling a dishonest narrative" about Chris' competency.

Nancy went missing from her Arizona home in February

The Pima County Sheriff's Department has worked closely with the FBI since Nancy went missing in February. While several suspects have been questioned regarding her disappearance, no arrests have been made, and DNA evidence is still being examined by the authorities.

Nancy, the 84-year-old mother of Today show star Savannah Guthrie, was believed to have been taken by force from her home in Tucson, Arizona, after blood was found on the doorstep, and her personaleffects were found inside the house.

President Donald Trump Takes The Gloves Off - Democrat Activist Judges FIRED and Escorted Out

President Donald Trump Takes The Gloves Off - Democrat Activist Judges FIRED and Escorted Out

WASHINGTON, D.C. — April 21, 2026

President Donald Trump is draining the swamp deeper than ever before — this time inside the immigration courts themselves.

In a quiet but powerful move that sent a clear message to the radical left, roughly 50 federal immigration judges have been dismissed via simple three-line emails with no fanfare and no explanation. The era of activist judges who repeatedly undermined American law, blocked deportations, and granted special privileges to illegal immigrants is officially over.

President Trump is keeping every promise he made to the American people. He is restoring law and order not only at the border but also in the courtrooms that have been weaponized against the American taxpayer for years.

Many of these fired judges — mostly Obama-era and Biden-era appointees — are now crying foul, running to the media with claims of unfair treatment, retaliation, and even discrimination. But the American people see through the tears. These are the same judges who helped create a backlog of over three million cases while releasing criminals and ignoring Homeland Security warnings.

Take Jennifer Peyton, an Obama appointee since 2016. She claims she received her termination notice while on vacation with her family. No disciplinary record. Glowing performance reviews. Yet she was shown the door. She blames conservative watchdogs and even a tour she gave to radical Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin. Durbin, who has spent years obstructing Trump, called it an “abuse of power.” In reality, it looks like long-overdue accountability.

The immigration judges’ union is in full panic mode. Its president, Matt Biggs, admits about 50 judges were fired, another 50 transferred or pushed into retirement, and the rest now feel “threatened.” Good. When a bloated bureaucracy has operated with zero consequences for years, a reckoning was inevitable.

Another fired judge, Carla Espinoza in Chicago, claims her contract wasn’t renewed because of her gender and Hispanic last name. Yet the case that defined her record involved releasing a Mexican national whom Homeland Security had flagged for threatening the President. She dismissed the case anyway, calling it “fair.” Now she wants sympathy.

These dismissals are not about race or gender. They are about judges who consistently put radical open-border ideology ahead of the law and public safety.

Even Erez Reuveni — a former DOJ lawyer who once defended Trump policies — says he was fired after refusing to label a deported Salvadoran a terrorist. He now plays whistleblower, complaining that senior officials are fast-tracking deportations and bypassing activist judges. What he calls “manipulation,” millions of patriotic Americans call common-sense efficiency.

One of those officials, Emil Bove, was recently confirmed to a federal appeals court by a Trump-aligned Senate. The radical Democrats who spent years turning courts into political weapons are now watching their control evaporate — and they are terrified.

President Trump did not just promise to secure the border. He promised to end the catch-and-release nightmare and the rubber-stamp culture that has infected the immigration system. Firing activist judges is a critical part of that mission.

These former judges want the public to see them as victims of a “political purge.” The truth is far simpler: they abused their positions for too long, blocked lawful deportations, and prioritized illegal immigrants over American citizens. Now they are facing the consequences they never expected.

As one fired official whined, “One voice can be ignored. But a chorus… that can no longer be silenced.”

He is right — except the real chorus is not coming from these dismissed judges. It is coming from the American people who have demanded a functioning immigration system for decades.

Thanks to President Trump and strong Republican leadership, that demand is finally being met. The swamp is being drained, one activist judge at a time.

The radical left is in disbelief. Their house of cards inside the immigration bureaucracy is collapsing.

MAGA is restoring the rule of law. America First is winning in the courts and at the border.

We are winning big — and the American people are safer because of it.

Chuck Schumer Makes Huge Admission About Epstein Files

Chuck Schumer Makes Huge Admission About Epstein Files

BROOKLYN'S BARACK": LEAKED EPSTEIN FILES EXPOSE SECRET DEMOCRAT FUNDRAISING AND SCHUMER BACKCHANNEL

WASHINGTON D.C. — Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer recently tried to score cheap political points by demanding to know why President Donald Trump didn't release the Jeffrey Epstein files sooner. Now, those newly unsealed files are coming back to haunt the highest levels of the Democratic Party.

A massive release of unredacted Justice Department documents has sent shockwaves through Washington, revealing that top Democrats and their fundraising networks actively courted the disgraced financier for cash and political favors years after his 2008 conviction for sex crimes.

THE SCHUMER BACKCHANNEL

The documents expose a stunning January 2018 email exchange proving that Epstein was still operating as a high-level political fixer a decade after he became a registered sex offender.

Following devastating hurricanes in 2017, an associate of U.S. Virgin Islands Delegate Stacey Plaskett emailed Epstein directly. She complained that Chuck Schumer was focusing disaster relief entirely on Puerto Rico and asked Epstein to use his influence to secure a meeting with the Senate Minority Leader.

"[S]hould not be a problem," Epstein replied.

Epstein immediately reached out to Kathy Ruemmler—former White House Counsel under Barack Obama—asking her to help him bypass normal channels to get to Schumer. Ruemmler replied that she would try to reach Schumer's Chief of Staff. While Congress did pass relief for the Virgin Islands shortly after, it remains a closely guarded secret whether Schumer actually took the meeting brokered by the disgraced billionaire.

"BROOKLYN'S BARACK"

The scandal doesn't stop with Schumer. The documents also reveal a desperate, multi-year effort by the New York-based political fundraising firm Dynamic SRG to squeeze campaign donations out of Epstein for top Democrats.

Between 2012 and 2014, fundraisers repeatedly solicited Epstein on behalf of prominent politicians, including now-Governor Kathy Hochul, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, and Senator Martin Heinrich.

Most shockingly, the firm aggressively pitched current House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to Epstein. In 2013, the fundraiser invited Epstein to a dinner with President Obama on behalf of Jeffries, calling the Brooklyn congressman a "rising star" and "Brooklyn’s Barack." The firm even extended an invitation for Epstein to attend a meet-and-greet dinner with Jeffries in St. Thomas as late as July 2017.

THE FACTUAL FALLOUT

While the optics of Democratic operatives begging a convicted sex offender for cash are catastrophic, the financial paper trail offers a slight reprieve for Jeffries.

May you like

Federal Election Commission (FEC) records show that despite the aggressive pitching, Epstein ultimately donated $0 to Jeffries' campaigns. Furthermore, Jeffries has publicly stated he has never met Epstein and had absolutely no knowledge that his external fundraising consultants were soliciting the disgraced financier in his name.

However, the damage is already done. As Chuck Schumer continues to point fingers at political rivals over the Epstein files, the unsealed documents prove that the Democratic establishment was more than happy to utilize Epstein's dark network when it suited their agenda
