The boys were burying their small faces into her rough apron.
They were repeatedly calling this humble servant their mother.
Andrew felt a freezing knot form deep inside his stomach.
His powerful heart hammered violently against his ribcage.
His real wife had died in a tragic accident three long years ago.
He stared intensely at this pathetic and confusing scene.
