Chapter 10 - A New Beginning

Six months later, the Moretti estate looked different.
The iron gates were still there, but the armed guards were gone, replaced by a friendly security team that focused more on safety than intimidation. The greenhouse was thriving, filled with blue flowers for Noah.
Inside the mansion, the air was warm.
Hannah and Adrian were married in a small, private ceremony in the solarium. Noah served as the ring bearer, beaming with pride as he watched his father and his favorite person become a family.
As the sun set, casting a golden glow over the gardens, Hannah stood by the fireplace in the library, looking at the portrait of Adrian’s father. It no longer felt like a brooding presence, but a reminder of where they had come from and how far they had traveled.
Adrian walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist.
“Happy?” he asked, resting his chin on her shoulder.
Hannah looked down at the hand resting on her stomach—a small, precious secret they were just beginning to share with the world.
“Happier than I ever thought possible,” she said.

The past was a shadow, but the future was bright, filled with the laughter of a child and the quiet strength of a love that had emerged from the depths of a lie. The Moretti name would continue, but it would no longer be defined by power and coldness. It would be defined by the woman who had entered as a maid and stayed as the heart of the home.
They walked toward the garden, ready to welcome the night, together.
