Chapter 10 - The Graceful Future (Happy Ending)

Two years later.
The grand gardens of the Moretti Estate were decorated with white ribbons, fresh roses, and fairy lights strung through the ancient oak trees.
It was the second birthday of Anthony and Lucia Moretti.
The grounds were filled with laughter. Children ran across the green lawn while music played softly from a live string quartet. Among the guests was Emma’s sister, Clare, happily chatting with Mateo, who was now the chief of corporate security for Moretti Enterprises.
Near the central fountain stood Gabriel Moretti.
He looked magnificent in a tailored navy suit, but his hard mobster edge was completely gone, replaced by the warm, proud posture of a devoted father and husband. On his hip, he held little Anthony, who was dressed in a matching tiny suit, laughing as he pointed at the birds in the trees.
Lucia, wearing a little white lace dress, was holding the hand of her mother.
Emma walked across the lawn toward them. She wore a stunning blush-pink dress that highlighted her warm brown eyes and radiant smile. Her hair was styled in an elegant braid adorned with small white flowers.
On her left ring finger sparkled a magnificent oval-cut emerald ring—a symbol of new life, growth, and unbreakable love.
Eighteen months ago, Gabriel had dropped to one knee in her woodworking workshop, asking her not to be his wet nurse or his companion, but to be his wife, his partner, and the mother of his children. She had said yes with her whole heart.
"Look, Mommy!" Lucia squealed, running up to Emma and showing her a crooked paper flower she had made at the craft table. "I made it like you taught me!"
Emma bent down, picking up her daughter and kissing her rosy cheek. "It's the most beautiful flower in the world, sweet girl."
Gabriel walked over, wrapping his free arm around Emma’s waist, pulling her close against his side. He leaned down and pressed a soft, loving kiss to her lips.
"Are you happy, Mrs. Moretti?" Gabriel murmured against her ear, his hazel eyes shining with endless devotion.
"I am completely happy, Don Gabriel," Emma teased gently, resting her head against his chest, listening to the steady, strong heartbeat that made her feel safe.

She looked up at the blue sky above the estate, feeling a gentle breeze brush against her cheek—a gentle touch that felt remarkably like a blessing from her sweet baby Grace.
Out of the deepest grief and the dark shadows of betrayal, life had found a way to bloom. They had built a family not on power or bloodlines, but on grace, forgiveness, and an enduring, unconditional love that would protect them for the rest of their days.
