Chapter 7 - The Master of the Estate

Three months later.
The gates of Hawthorne Ridge slid open, welcoming a fleet of luxury cars under a clear, crisp winter sky.
The grand marble foyer was immaculate. The crystal chandeliers gleamed brightly, fresh white lilies filled the air with sweet fragrance, and the entire staff—sixty housekeepers, gardeners, cooks, and armed lieutenants—stood in two perfect, respectful lines along the sweeping staircase.
Standing at the base of the stairs was Ivy Bennett Morelli.
She wore a breathtaking white silk evening gown that hugged her voluptuous curves, a delicate diamond necklace sparkling against her skin. Her dark hair had grown slightly, styled into a sophisticated, glossy vintage wave that brushed her shoulders with absolute elegance.
Beside her stood Don Dante Morelli, looking immaculate in a tailored black tuxedo, his hand firmly holding hers, his gold signet ring gleaming beside her new diamond wedding band.
Mrs. Gable, the head housekeeper, stepped forward, tears of joy in her eyes, bowing respectfully.
"Welcome home, Mrs. Morelli," Mrs. Gable said warmly.
"Thank you, Mrs. Gable," Ivy smiled, her voice radiating warmth, authority, and serene confidence. "Please ensure the staff takes tomorrow morning off to celebrate with their families. Don Morelli and I have already approved a end-of-year bonus for everyone."
The staff let out a collective, joyful cheer, clapping enthusiastically.
Dante looked down at his wife, his silver eyes filled with endless pride and love. He leaned down, pressing a warm kiss to her jawline, right where Vanessa’s sharp scissors had once left scratches.
"You run this estate far better than I ever could, Mrs. Morelli," Dante whispered in her ear.
Ivy turned in his arms, wrapping her slender arms around his waist, looking up into the eyes of the man who had torn down an empire just to win her back.

"I don't just run the estate, Don Morelli," Ivy smiled radiantly, resting her head against his broad, warm chest as the applause echoed through the grand marble hall. "I run you."
Dante laughed—a rich, happy sound that filled the entire mansion—and pulled her close, kissing his Queen under the bright lights of the home they had built together.
