Chapter 10 - The Seven-Tier Triumph

The wedding of Maggie Hayes and Elias Han was the event of the decade, but it didn't take place in a sterile luxury hotel. It took place in a beautifully restored historic warehouse on the South Side, filled with thousands of white roses, warm candlelight, and the people who truly mattered—her friends, her community, and his loyal inner circle.
Maggie walked down the aisle in a spectacular cream gown lace-embroidered with patterns she had designed herself. She looked radiant, proud, and magnificent—a woman who loved her body, her life, and her destiny.
Elias stood at the altar, his eyes bright with tears as he watched his bride walk toward him.
But the true center of attention, next to the bride, was the wedding cake.
It was a masterpiece created by Maggie and Noah together. Seven tiers of champagne chiffon and dark chocolate ganache. Two hundred and sixteen handmade sugar flowers, perfect and unbroken. Gold lace piped so delicately it seemed to glow under the lights.
It was the exact design from the Prescott wedding, but this time, it belonged to her.
During the reception, Elias and Maggie stood before the towering cake, holding a silver knife together. The crowd gathered around, faces filled with smiles and genuine happiness.
"No one is going to touch this one without permission," Elias whispered in her ear, his arm wrapping around her waist, pulling her full figure securely against his chest.
"They wouldn't dare," Maggie laughed, looking up at her husband.

Together, they sliced into the perfect buttercream, the crowd erupting into applause. Maggie looked out at the room, seeing the love, the respect, and the empire they had built together from the ashes of cruelty.
The plus-size baker and the king of the shadows had found their perfect balance—a life built on strength, resilience, and the sweet, undeniable taste of a love that could never be broken.
