Chapter 10 - The Road Ahead

One year later.

The summer sun was golden and warm over the Texas Hill Country.

A long, winding ribbon of smooth asphalt stretched through green hills, oak groves, and wildflowers under a vast, cloudless blue sky.

Cruising smoothly down the highway at fifty miles an hour was a custom Harley-Davidson three-wheeled trike—painted deep sapphire blue, with polished chrome dual exhaust pipes gleaming in the sun.

Driving the trike was Jack "Grizzly" Donovan, wearing his leather vest, dark sunglasses, and a wide, contented smile.

Sitting beside him in the comfortable, custom-built sidecar was six-year-old Lily Turner, wearing a shiny yellow motorcycle helmet, holding her toy yellow motorcycle in her lap, laughing as the cool wind swept past her face.

And sitting directly behind Jack, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist, her face pressed against his back, was Rachel.

Behind them, riding in a disciplined, protective formation, were twelve members of the Iron Guardians Motorcycle Club, their chrome pipes rumbling softly like steady thunder against the rolling hills.

They weren't running from crumbling concrete anymore. They weren't fighting corrupt landlords or hiding in temporary shelters.

They were riding toward a future built on solid ground—a home filled with laughter, a community bound by honor, and a love that had started with a single, terrifying leap into the deep end of a swimming pool.

Jack reached down with his left hand, pressing Rachel’s hands tighter against his chest, catching Lily’s bright eyes in his side mirror.

The road ahead was wide, clear, and beautiful. And as long as they rode together, nothing in the world could ever break their fall.
