Chapter 10 - The Wine-Red Silk

One year later.

The sun was setting over the private coastal estate in the south of France—a breathtaking cliffside villa overlooking the azure waters of the Mediterranean.

White rose petals covered the marble aisle leading down to a floral arch overlooking the sea.

There were no three hundred fake high-society guests. There were no press photographers or corporate PR teams. Only fifty of our closest friends, colleagues, and Sarah Miller sitting in the front row smiling warmly.

I stood inside the villa's bridal suite, looking at my reflection in the full-length mirror.

I wasn't wearing traditional white.

I was wearing a breathtaking, custom haute-couture wine-red silk bridal gown, cascading into a sweeping train, studded with subtle rubies that caught the golden evening light.

The body Ethan had called "too fat for his image" was framed in majestic, unforgettable beauty. I was healthy, confident, radiant, and deeply loved.

A knock sounded at the door.

"Ready, my lady?" Alexander’s deep voice called out.

I opened the door.

Alexander stood there in a dark navy tailored tuxedo, a black bow tie, his silver-dappled hair styled perfectly. When he looked at me in my wine-red dress, his breath audibly caught in his throat.

"Olivia..." he whispered, his grey eyes shining with raw, boundless admiration. "You are... absolutely divine."

"No white dress for me," I smiled playfully, leaning in to adjust his bow tie.

"Red is the color of victory, my love," Alexander said softly, taking my hand and pressing a tender kiss to my knuckles. "And you have won everything."

We walked out onto the cliffside terrace together, hand in hand, as the soft sounds of a string quartet echoed over the ocean waves.

There were no secrets. No stolen money. No lies.

Standing beneath the floral arch overlooking the vast, endless sea, Alexander took both of my hands in his, looking deep into my eyes.

"Olivia Sterling," Alexander said, his voice ringing true and clear against the wind. "I choose you today, tomorrow, and for every day of my life. Not for an image, but for the incredible, unbreakable woman you are."

"I choose you, Alexander," I replied, my voice filled with tears of pure, unadulterated joy. "For standing beside me when I was broken, and for loving me as I built my world."

As we sealed our vows with a deep, passionate kiss under the golden sunset, the guests erupted into joyous applause.

I looked out at the endless blue horizon, feeling the warm sea breeze against my skin, held tightly in the arms of the man who cherished every single inch of who I was.

I had stepped out of the shadow of betrayal, walked through the fire of humiliation, and built an empire of my own. And as I laughed happily against Alexander's chest, I knew that my story was no longer about revenge—it was about a love that was truly, beautifully endless.
