Chapter 10 - Dawn at Hollow Crest

Six months later.

The summer lawn of Hollow Crest Manor was a sea of white roses and green velvet grass. There were no corporate magnates, no political sycophants, and no security details scanning the treeline with thermal optics.

Only true friends, trusted allies like Silas and Gabriel, and the sound of children laughing on the terrace.

I stood near the stone steps where, half a year ago, my entire world had been shattered and remade. I wore a tailored black tuxedo, but my heart wasn't focused on business or power. It was focused entirely on the woman walking toward me down the aisle.

Renata looked breathtaking in a simple, elegant lace gown, her hand resting gently on a bouquet of white lilies. Beside her, little Lily walked proudly as the flower girl, wearing a matching yellow ribbon in her hair—a joyous nod to the night gown she had worn the day she saved her mother.

When Renata reached my side, I took both of her hands in mine. They were warm, strong, and steady.

"Six months ago," I said, my voice rich with deep emotion as the pastor stood before us, "a tiny girl grabbed my coat on these very steps and taught me what true courage looked like. And her mother showed me what it means to fight for love, truth, and family."

Renata looked at me, her eyes glistening with tears of pure joy. "You opened a door in the dark, Julian. And you gave us a home."

"Not just a home, Renata," I whispered, sliding a simple platinum band onto her finger. "A future."

As the pastor pronounced us husband and wife, I pulled Renata close and kissed her under the warm afternoon sun. The crowd erupted into cheers, Silas wiping a rare tear from his eye, and Lily jumping up and down, clapping her hands.

Hollow Crest Manor was no longer a place of shadows, hidden vaults, or ancient secrets. It was a place filled with light, laughter, and a love that could never be locked away
