Chapter 10 - The Horizon

The final chapter of my life as the "heiress" was officially closed. I was now the architect of my own destiny.

I stood on the deck of my personal yacht, The Legacy, sailing the Mediterranean, with Leo running around the deck, laughing. The sun was setting, the water turning into liquid gold.

I had everything. The power, the wealth, the respect. But more than that, I had the freedom to be who I wanted to be.

I looked back at the horizon, where the sky met the sea. It was vast, infinite, and full of possibility.

I took a sip of my drink, feeling the gentle sway of the boat beneath my feet. I had been through the fire, and I had come out stronger.

My phone rang. It was an alert from the Vance Group. A new acquisition, a new expansion. The business never stopped, but it didn't control me anymore.

I closed the phone and tossed it onto the lounge chair.

"Mom!" Leo shouted, pointing at a pod of dolphins jumping in the wake of the boat.

"I see them, baby!" I called out, my heart overflowing.

I picked him up, holding him tight, and watched the dolphins play in the sunset. The Vance legacy was secure, the battles were fought, and the future was ours to define.

I took a deep breath, the salt air filling my lungs. I was Olivia Vance, and I was exactly where I was meant to be.

The horizon was calling, and for the first time in my life, I wasn't running toward it out of fear. I was sailing toward it out of strength.

The story of my life wasn't about the money, the houses, or the corporate battles. It was about the moment I stopped asking for what was mine and started taking what I deserved.

And as the last of the sun dipped below the horizon, I knew one thing for certain: the legacy was mine to keep, and the world was mine to conquer.

The end was just the beginning.
