Chapter 10 - The Dawn of the Romanos

One year later.

The grand ballroom of the Romano countryside estate was decorated with thousands of white roses and twinkling fairy lights. It wasn't a gathering of mafia capos or high-society elites; it was a celebration of true friends, local townspeople from Maine, and the family that mattered.

Clara stood in front of a massive mirror, her white lace wedding gown flowing elegantly behind her. She looked breathtaking, her eyes sparkling with absolute peace.

The door opened, and two tiny figures scrambled into the room. Noah was dressed in a miniature black tuxedo, looking remarkably handsome and sharp, while Lily wore a fluffy white flower-girl dress, a crown of roses in her hair.

"Mommy! You look like a princess!" Lily gasped, hugging Clara's gown.

"You look beautiful, Mom," Noah added, his serious mouth giving way to a proud, bright smile.

Dominic walked in behind them, wearing a matching tailored tuxedo. He looked at his wife and his children, the wealth and power of his past fading into insignificance compared to the priceless treasure standing in front of him.

He took Clara’s hand as the wedding music began to play from the gardens outside. The twins grabbed their flower baskets, racing out ahead to lead the way down the aisle.

Dominic looked down at Clara, his eyes filled with a deep, unshakeable devotion. "Ready, Mrs. Romano?"

Clara smiled, squeezing his hand tightly as they stepped out into the bright, beautiful sunshine together. "More than ready, Dominic. Our story is finally beginning."
