Chapter 8 - The Trial of the Century

Six months later, the federal trial of Garrett Holloway culminated in the Suffolk County Federal Courthouse.

Sienna took the witness stand, dressed in a sharp, elegant charcoal suit, her voice firm and unwavering as she delivered two hours of devastating testimony detailing Holloway’s financial crimes, his syndicate connections, and his direct ordering of her brother's execution.

Holloway sat at the defense table, aged, gray, and stripped of all his former arrogance, staring at the floor as the jury listened to the undeniable mountain of digital and physical evidence.

When the verdict was read, the courtroom was packed to maximum capacity:

Guilty on all forty-two counts, including First-Degree Murder, Grand Larcenary, and Racketeering.

The judge sentenced Garrett Holloway to two consecutive life terms in a maximum-security federal facility without the possibility of parole.

As Holloway was led away in heavy chains to spend the rest of his days in a sterile cell, Sienna felt a profound sense of peace settle over her soul. The justice she had fought for—the justice she had bled for—was complete.

Outside the courthouse, dozens of news cameras and reporters swarmed the steps. Damian stood by Sienna’s side, his arm wrapped firmly around her waist as she addressed the nation.

"My brother gave his life for the truth," Sienna told the rolling cameras. "Today, the truth won. To anyone hiding in the shadows, believing that wealth and power make them untouchable: remember that justice never forgets, and patience always wins."
