Chapter 10 - The Sun over CoyoacánThree years later.

The morning sun illuminated the blooming jacaranda trees of Coyoacán. Purple petals drifted softly across the green lawn of a beautiful, open-concept hacienda.

Inside the sunlit kitchen, the smell of fresh coffee and toasted bread filled the air.

Three-year-old Lucía, wearing a yellow sundress, ran across the grass with a golden retriever puppy, her bright laughter echoing across the garden.

Alejandro stood on the veranda, wearing a simple linen shirt, sipping his coffee. There were no high walls, no cold granite floors, and no whispers of judgment or fear.

Valeria walked out to join him, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind. Her skin was radiant, her hands strong and creative, currently working on a master restoration of a 17th-century fresco for the National Museum.

"What are you thinking about?" Valeria asked, resting her chin on his shoulder.

Alejandro turned around in her arms, looking down at his wife with profound gratitude and endless devotion.

"I was thinking about four years ago," Alejandro admitted softly, gently brushing a lock of hair from her face. "I thought I had everything because I had money and power. But I was living in a cold, dark prison."

He took her hand, kissing her palm where the old scars had faded into soft memories.

"You taught me what true strength means, Valeria. You saved my soul."

"We saved each other," Valeria smiled, stepping into his arms as their daughter came running up the steps, jumping into their embrace.

Under the bright, warm Mexican sun, surrounded by freedom, love, and laughter, the Aranda family was finally whole. The blanket of secrets had been lifted forever, leaving behind only the pure, unbreakable light of truth.
