Chapter 5 - Public Execution
At 10:00 AM, the emergency board meeting of Vance Enterprises convened. Eleanor, using an emergency legal loophole, tried to crash the board meeting alongside her high-priced defense attorney, demanding my removal as CEO on grounds of emotional instability.
She walked into the glass boardroom wearing a mink coat, painting herself as the victimized mother.
"Members of the board," Eleanor announced dramatically. "My son has suffered a breakdown. He is falsely accusing his own family to cover up his wife’s financial incompetence!"
I didn't argue. I simply pressed play on the wall monitor.
The entire board watched forty minutes of raw footage: Eleanor verbally abusing Clara, throwing food on the floor, kicking her under the table, and bragging to her country club friends about replacing her. Then, the financial ledgers and toxicology reports flashed on the screen.
The room fell into stunned silence. Several board members gasped in horror.

"Effective immediately," I said calmly, "Julian Vance is terminated from all roles. The board has voted unanimously to stripped Eleanor Vance of all trust benefits, real estate rights, and corporate ties. Furthermore, the authorities are waiting outside."
Police officers stepped into the boardroom, unfolding handcuffs. Eleanor screamed and thrashed as her mink coat fell to the floor, her social standing destroyed in seconds.
