The trial was short. The evidence Adeline had provided—the original blueprints, the unauthorized material changes, the fraudulent reports—was undeniable. Chase was barred from development, his reputation permanently scorched.
Adeline took back the company. She didn't just rebrand it; she gutted it. She kept the staff who had been loyal to the craft, not the man.
Nolan watched from the sidelines, a proud smirk on his face. “You did it. You’re the chair of Prescott Development.”
