Police had executed a simultaneous dawn raid on Margaret’s suburban estate, seizing her encrypted communications, hidden bank accounts, and documents proving her direct financial commissioning of Victor Thorne’s attempted industrial sabotage.
Margaret was arrested in her silk bathrobe, screaming hysterically as media cameras flashed relentlessly from the street gates, capturing her absolute downfall for the entire world to witness.
Inside the executive boardroom on the forty-sixth floor, the emergency board of directors meeting was already underway.
Every single executive sat in respectful silence as Julian Vance formally presented the final audit and the criminal indictments against Margaret Hayes. When he finished, he stepped back, and Sebastian Valle stood up from his seat, walking slowly toward the head of the table.
