Chapter 10 - Under the Sunlit Pavilion

Six months later, the dark clouds that had hung over the Moretti family for years had completely parted.
Victor Rossi and Derek Shaw were serving life sentences in federal prison. The Falcone syndicate had been completely dismantled, and Moretti Enterprises was operating with full transparency and overwhelming success.
On a warm, golden Saturday afternoon, the grand garden of the Greenwich estate was transformed into a paradise of white roses and sunlit silk.
A massive white pavilion stood near the ancient oak tree overlooking the Hudson River.
Emma stood before a floor-length mirror in the bride's dressing room, wearing an exquisite lace wedding gown with a flowing train. Her mother, Sarah, looking healthy and radiant, adjusted the delicate veil over Emma's hair.
"You are the most beautiful bride I have ever seen, sweetheart," Sarah said, tears of joy in her eyes.
A knock sounded at the door, and the three boys—Leo, Toby, and Julian—burst into the room wearing matching miniature tuxedos with tiny emerald bowties.
"Emma! You look like a princess!" Toby cheered.
"Daddy says it's time!" Leo announced proudly, holding a velvet ring pillow.
"And he told us not to drop the rings!" Julian added, grinning.
Emma knelt down, hugging all three boys tightly, kissing their cheeks. "Thank you, my brave little men. Let's go get married."
Out in the garden, classical violin music filled the air as guests stood in applause.
Gabriel stood at the altar under the flower-adorned pavilion, looking impossibly handsome in his black tuxedo. When the archway doors opened and Emma walked down the aisle on her mother's arm, Gabriel’s breath caught in his throat.
His eyes glistened with unshed tears as he watched his bride walk toward him.
When Emma reached the altar, Gabriel took her hand, looking into her eyes with an intensity of love that filled the entire garden.
The priest delivered the vows, but when it came time for Gabriel to speak, he gently took both of Emma's hands in his.
"Emma," Gabriel said, his voice deep and echoing with profound sincerity. "When you first walked into my home, I was a man living in darkness, trapped by grief and cold duty. You didn't just care for my sons—you gave them back their laughter. You gave me back my heart. I promise to cherish you, protect you, and love you for every remaining day of my life."
Emma’s tears overflowed down her radiant cheeks. "Gabriel, you showed me what it means to be truly safe, truly loved, and truly valued. You and the boys are my entire world."
"I now pronounce you husband and wife," the priest declared. "You may kiss the bride."
Gabriel pulled Emma into his arms, dipping her slightly as he kissed her deeply under the golden sunlight. The entire gathering erupted into cheers, clapping, and joyous applause.
The triplets ran up onto the stage, jumping up and hugging their parents' legs.
Later that evening, as the sun set over the Hudson River, casting pink and gold light across the water, Gabriel and Emma stood on the garden terrace, watching the boys play tag on the lawn below.
Gabriel wrapped his arms around Emma from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder, his hands resting gently over hers.
"Happy, Mrs. Moretti?" Gabriel murmured gently near her ear.
Emma turned her head, kissing his cheek softly before looking back at their three boys laughing in the sunlit grass.

"I have never been happier in my entire life," Emma whispered softly.
And under the warm, peaceful sky, the mafia boss, his bride, and their three boys began their beautiful, unshakeable forever.
