Chapter 10 - The Garden of Tomorrow

Two years later. Summer 2028.

The golden afternoon sun warmed the manicured gardens of my new home in the foothills of Golden, Colorado.

The house was a beautiful, light-filled stone villa surrounded by tall pines, wild lavender, and roaring mountain streams—far away from the painful memories of Cherry Hills Village.

Sitting on a wide wooden deck overlooking the valley was a hand-crafted wooden crib.

I stood by the railing, wearing a comfortable white cotton dress, my hair blowing gently in the mountain breeze.

In my arms, wrapped in a soft pink cashmere blanket, was my three-month-old daughter—little Hope Clara Rollins.

She was healthy, beautiful, and possessed a pair of bright, intelligent brown eyes that looked up at me with absolute, unconditional love.

The patio door opened smoothly.

Justin walked out onto the deck carrying a tray of iced tea and fresh peach tart. He was accompanied by his new fiancée, Elena—a warm, brilliant human rights lawyer from London whom he had met during his time overseas.

"Is the little princess awake?" Justin asked softly, setting the tray down on the wooden table and leaning down to kiss my forehead.

"She just woke up," I smiled, turning so he could see her chubby, smiling face.

Justin reached down, gently letting little Hope wrap her tiny fingers around his pinky finger. Tears of soft, quiet joy shone in his eyes.

"She looks just like you, Sabrina," Justin whispered gently.

"She has our family's heart, Justin," I replied, looking out over the majestic, sunlit peaks of the Rocky Mountains.

I looked down at my baby girl, holding her close against my chest, feeling the steady, warm rhythm of her tiny heart beating against mine.

The pain of the past was gone. The scars remained, but they were no longer marks of shame—they were medals of victory, proof that I had fought through the darkest night and brought forth a bright, beautiful dawn.

I was no longer just a survivor of a cruel marriage. I was a mother, a leader, a protector, and the true Queen of my own destiny.

And as the golden sun dipped below the mountain horizon, painting the sky in brilliant shades of pink and gold, I knew that our story was finally, beautifully complete.

(THE END)
