Chapter 10 - Eternal Dawn

Two months after the trial ended, a soft, golden sunrise broke over the green hills of the Thorne estate in Greenwich.
The morning air was crisp and fresh, filled with the sweet scent of blooming white roses and honeysuckle. The terror that had once haunted the estate was entirely gone, replaced by a deep, profound peace.
In the master nursery—a bright, sunlit room decorated in soft ivory, gold, and cloud-blue tones—Marcus stood by the large bay window, gently swaying back and forth.
In his arms, swaddled in a soft cashmere blanket, was his daughter: baby Victoria Vance Thorne, born healthy and strong at seven pounds, eight ounces.
Victoria had her mother’s bright, expressive dark eyes and her father’s jet-black hair. She cooed softly, reaching a tiny hand up to touch Marcus’s cheek.
Marcus looked down at her, tears of pure happiness welling in his eyes. "You are safe, my sweet girl," he whispered softly, kissing her tiny forehead. "Nobody will ever hurt you or your mother again."
The nursery door opened quietly. Khloe walked in, wearing a flowing white silk morning gown, her cheeks flushed with health and happiness. She looked radiant, completely restored, the scars of the past behind her.
She walked up beside Marcus, leaning her head against his broad shoulder, wrapping her arms around his waist as they both looked down at their sleeping baby.
"How is she?" Khloe asked softly.
"She’s perfect," Marcus murmured, turning his head to kiss Khloe’s lips passionately. "Just like her mother."
Downstairs, the sound of laughter and clinking champagne glasses floated up from the garden terrace. Uncle Arthur, David, Agent Robert, and their close family had gathered for Victoria’s private christening celebration.
Marcus wrapped one arm around Khloe’s waist, pulling her close against his side as they watched the sun climb higher into the clear sky.
"We fought through the storm, Khloe," Marcus said, his voice filled with deep, unwavering conviction. "And we built something they could never destroy."
Khloe looked at her husband, then down at their precious baby girl resting peacefully in his arms, feeling a wave of absolute love and contentment wash over her soul.

"They thought a vicious attack would destroy us forever," Khloe smiled, her eyes glittering with strength and peace. "They had no idea it would only make us invincible."
Together, hand in hand, the Thorne family stepped out onto the sunlit balcony to welcome their brand new day.
