Chapter 5 - The Rise of Romano Fashion

Six months later.
The Grand Palais in Paris was lit by thousands of brilliant spotlights. The air was filled with the chic chatter of international fashion editors, celebrity icons, and billionaire investors attending Paris Fashion Week.
The most anticipated runway show of the season was about to begin: The Romano Collection, designed by Sophia Romano.
Backstage, the energy was electric. Models in magnificent silk gowns, structured blazers, and diamond-embellished outerwear were being given final touches by makeup artists.
Sophia stood near the main entrance monitor. She wore a stunning midnight-blue tailored pantsuit. Her right leg had completely healed following months of world-class physical therapy, allowing her to stand tall, proud, and completely unassisted in two-inch heels.
Beside her stood Don Vincenzo Romano, wearing a pristine tuxedo, looking at his daughter with unbridled admiration.
"Are you nervous, carina?" Vincenzo asked softly, handing her a glass of champagne.
Sophia looked at her reflection in the full-length mirror. The quiet, timid woman who had tolerated Ethan’s arrogance, who had cooked his meals while he plotted behind her back, was gone forever. In her place stood a woman who possessed both artistic genius and the unyielding strength of an empire.
"Nervous?" Sophia smiled, taking a small sip of champagne. "No, Dad. For three years, I hid my light to make a small man feel big. Tonight, I show the world who I truly am."
The lights in the main hall dimmed. The dramatic, heavy bass of a orchestral track began to echo through the auditorium.
One by one, the models glided down the runway. The designs were a breathtaking fusion of delicate elegance and sharp, powerful lines—a physical representation of a woman rising from the ashes of betrayal to claim her throne.
The crowd erupted into thunderous applause. Standing ovations echoed through the massive hall. High-fashion critics were already typing frantic five-star reviews on their phones.
When Sophia stepped out onto the runway for her final bow, the auditorium exploded. Standing in the front row was Julian Sterling, the head of the world's largest luxury conglomerate, clapping enthusiastically.
Julian stepped forward, offering Sophia a bouquet of rare black orchids.
"Magnificent, Miss Romano," Julian said, his eyes filled with profound respect and genuine warmth. "The Sterling Group would be honored to partner with you for a global distribution network."

Sophia looked into Julian’s warm, intelligent eyes—a man who recognized her talent, her power, and her mind without ever seeking to diminish her.
"I would be delighted, Mr. Sterling," Sophia replied with a confident, radiant smile.
