Chapter 6 - A Storm of Scandals
Amy’s fears materialized sooner than expected. On Thursday morning, the front page of every major financial newspaper and tabloid in New York exploded with sensationalized headlines:
"BILLIONAIRE'S SECRET LIFE: ANDREW CALLAHAN HIDES ILLEGITIMATE CHILD IN QUEENS SLUMS WHILE RETAINING CALLAHAN GLOBAL LEADERSHIP."
The articles contained leaked photographs of Amy working at Rosie’s Diner, along with fabricated statements accusing Andrew of using company funds to keep his secret mistress and child quiet for years to protect the company's stock value.
Inside the corporate headquarters of Callahan Global, chaos erupted. Stock prices plummeted by eight percent in pre-market trading, and the board of directors called for an emergency session to demand Andrew's immediate resignation.
In the penthouse, Amy stared at the television screen in horror, her hands trembling. "It’s Richard," she whispered, turning to Andrew. "He’s trying to ruin you before you can expose him. He's using us to destroy your reputation."

Andrew stood by the floor-to-ceiling windows, dressed in a sharp black suit, his expression terrifyingly calm. He turned to Amy, stepping close to wrap his arms around her waist, drawing her against his chest.
"Let him try," Andrew said softly, his voice dripping with dangerous confidence. "He thinks he can use public opinion as a weapon. But he forgets that I built this company, not him. Today, we fight back."
