Chapter 10 - The Emerald Horizon

Three years later.
The grand opening of the Vance Atelier Flagship Center in New York City was the fashion event of the season.
The three-story glass building on Fifth Avenue shone under the city lights, displaying my couture designs to the world. International fashion critics, celebrities, and business leaders filled the showroom, celebrating the launch of my global brand.
Backstage, before the main runway show began, I stood in front of a full-length mirror, adjusting the emerald brooch on my coat.
The door opened, and three tall, handsome ten-year-olds stepped inside, wearing sharp matching tuxedos.
"Mom!" Maya said, running over to fix my brooch with practiced hands—she had already shown a brilliant talent for design, just like her mother. "The guests are all seated! The mayor of New York just arrived!"
Leo and Ethan stood on either side of me, looking at my reflection in the mirror with immense pride.
"You look like a queen, Mom," Leo said softly.
"I’m not a queen, my loves," I smiled, turning around to gather all three of them into a tight, warm embrace. "I’m just a mother who refused to give up."
Thomas stepped into the dressing room, wearing a tailored black suit, holding two glasses of sparkling apple cider for the kids and a glass of champagne for me. He looked at us with eyes full of boundless love.
"It’s time, Clara," Thomas said gently, holding out his hand. "The world is waiting for you."

I took Thomas’s hand, holding my children close beside me, and walked toward the bright lights of the runway stage.
Behind us lay the shadows of the past, defeated and forgotten. Before us lay a endless horizon of light, triumph, and an everlasting, unstoppable love.
