Chapter 10 - The Real Celebration

That evening, a quiet, intimate gathering took place at Dominic's estate—not a grand party with two hundred politicians and mob bosses, but a real family celebration.

There were no crystal chandeliers, no champagne fountains, and no armed guards standing behind curtains.

Just a simple wooden table set on the backyard patio, decorated with colorful paper balloons, fresh flowers, and a large handmade chocolate cake.

At the center of the table sat Sophie and Lucy, both wearing matching silver party dresses and paper crowns.

Dominic stood beside Emily, holding a glass of fruit punch, looking around at his home.

The dark shadows of his past—the crime, the paranoia, the betrayal—had been swept away, replaced by the genuine laughter of children and the unbreakable bond of a true family.

"To real heroes," Dominic said, raising his glass toward little Lucy.

Emily smiled, clinking her glass against his. "To new beginnings."

As the stars began to twinkle over the quiet Pennsylvania sky, the sound of music and happy laughter filled the night air—a sound that no bomb, no syndicate, and no betrayal could ever take away again.
