Chapter 7 - The Lion's Wrath

At 3:30 PM, Alessandro stood in the estate’s main security room, staring at a flashing red alert on the primary monitor.

Marco was furiously typing at his console, tracking a GPS transponder signal that was moving rapidly toward the south river docks.

"They hit her at St. Jude's," Marco reported, his voice tense. "The guards were hit with high-grade neuro-paralytics. They're alive, but unconscious. The attackers took Emma."

Rocco slammed his fist against the wall. "Damn it! I should have sent four guards!"

Alessandro didn't shout. He didn't break anything.

He simply stood motionless, his face turning into a mask of pure, unadulterated fury that sent a chill through every guard in the room.

"Where is the signal going, Marco?" Alessandro asked, his voice low and vibrating with lethal intent.

"The abandoned grain silo complex on 4th Street," Marco replied. "It's a dead-end industrial zone owned by one of Vance's shell corporations."

Alessandro turned to Rocco. "Call up the entire vanguard. Every soldier, every tactical team, every piece of heavy armor we have in the city. Mobilize them now."

"Boss," Rocco hesitated slightly. "If we hit Vance’s stronghold with full force, it’s an all-out syndicate war in broad daylight."

Alessandro walked over to a steel weapons locker built into the wall, unlocking it with his palm print. He pulled out a heavy black tactical vest, strapping it over his chest, followed by two high-capacity sidearms and a tactical assault rifle.

"Viktor Vance took the woman I love," Alessandro said, his dark eyes burning with an ancient, terrifying fire. "There will be no war, Rocco. There will only be an execution."
