Isla met Davis in a secluded warehouse near the docks, accompanied by Marcus and a team of loyal security operatives. Davis looked broken, tears streaming down his face as he fell to his knees.

"I’m sorry, Mrs. Callaway! I had no choice!" Davis sobbed. "Julian has my sister in a private estate in upstate New York. He told me if I didn't give him the encryption keys to Roman's private accounts and alter his medication, he would kill her!"

Isla knelt in front of him, her voice firm but compassionate. "You should have come to us, Davis. Roman would have moved mountains to save her."
