Chapter 18 - The Trap is Set
Julian Voss was ecstatic. The news of Roman Callaway’s sudden hospitalization had hit the stock market, causing Callaway Enterprises' shares to plummet. Julian was ready to execute a forced buyout at the upcoming shareholder meeting.
He arrived at the Callaway headquarters, flanked by his legal team, ready to claim his throne. The boardroom was filled with anxious shareholders and board members.
Julian walked to the head of the table. "Given Mr. Callaway’s unfortunate and... permanent incapacitation, I move for an immediate vote to remove him as CEO and appoint myself as the primary trustee."
"I object," a clear, powerful voice rang out.

The double doors swung open. Isla walked in, wearing a sharp, tailored black suit. She wasn't alone. Walking right behind her, looking pale but entirely commanding and very much alive, was Roman Callaway.
Julian’s face drained of color. "Impossible..."
