Chapter 14 - Shadow of Betrayal
The tension reached a boiling point when Gabriel discovered a tracking device placed inside baby Gabriel’s stroller. The realization that his son was in immediate danger pushed Gabriel to a dark, dangerous place. He locked down the penthouse, turning it into an impenetrable fortress, and forbade Norah from leaving.
"You're acting like the man I ran away from a year ago!" Norah shouted, tears of frustration in her eyes. "Paralyzed by fear, shutting everyone out!"

"I am trying to keep you alive!" Gabriel roared back, his voice echoing through the penthouse. "You don't know these people, Norah! They don't have a soul. They will kill our son just to make a point!"
That night, Gabriel received a tip from an anonymous informant inside the company, claiming that one of his most trusted board members, Julian Vance, had been bribed by Victoria to leak the internal encryption keys. Gabriel left the penthouse in absolute fury to confront Vance, unaware that he was walking straight into a meticulously planned trap.
